For our demo site demo.tiptoppress.com we use the extendable eCommerce plugin WooCommerce to show how you can use “Term and Category Posts Widget” in big WordPress websites. We select the Custom Post Type “products” which is provided with WooCommerce.

We give two Style examples that expose our slider feature: Vertical News Ticker and Scroll Bar and both use the Custom Post Type “products”. For the Vertical News Ticker example with use the option “Full width”. Full width expands the used feature/thumbnail image in your post to the full widget area width and set the head line text above the image.
We’re looking forward on more slider and Styles features and want to get more options for similar slider features, like icon support, enhance the ‘ticker’ behaviour with more time options like delay between shown posts or encrease the page placement with supporting shortcode.
